Get your air-conditioner professionally installed by qualified installers. Our standard back-to-back aircon installation service is suitable for split air-conditioning units from 9,000 BTU to 30,000 BTU.
This service is designed for a basic ground-floor or first-floor installation where the indoor and outdoor units are installed directly back-to-back, with a single wall penetration for piping and cabling.

Standard Back-to-Back Aircon Installation: R1,950
Applicable to air-conditioning units from 9,000 BTU to 30,000 BTU.
What Is Included
Our standard installation includes:
Copper/aluminum piping and communication cable supplied with the purchased air-conditioner
1 meter power cable
Installation on ground floor or first floor
One standard wall hole drilled for piping access
Mounting of indoor and outdoor unit
Basic connection and commissioning of the air-conditioner
What Is Excluded
The following items are not included in the standard installation price and may be quoted separately:
Extra piping
Trunking
Extension ladder or scaffolding
Additional wall holes
Extra power cable
Transport costs beyond 20 km from our business address
Electrical point installation
Any non-standard installation requirements
Electrical Point Requirement
For air-conditioning units sized 18,000 BTU and above, a dedicated electrical point may be required.
This includes:
Installation of an isolator
Circuit breaker connection to the distribution board
Additional power cable
Additional cost: R1,650
Important Installation Note
Additional charges may apply depending on the site conditions and the specific requirements of the installation. Final pricing may vary if extra materials, difficult access, additional piping, trunking, scaffolding, or electrical work is required.
Important Notice
R32 Refrigerant Safety & Compliance Policy
Air-conditioning units using R32 refrigerant must be installed, commissioned, and serviced by qualified and competent HVAC professionals only.
R32 refrigerant is classified as A2L mildly flammable, and incorrect handling or installation may create serious safety risks, including fire, injury, property damage, or system failure.
These air-conditioning units are not suitable for DIY installation.
All installations must be carried out in accordance with the manufacturer’s installation manual and applicable South African safety standards, including:
SANS 10147 – Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Systems
SANS 10142 – The Wiring of Premises
Any other applicable South African National Standards relating to refrigerants, electrical installations, and safety compliance
Installer Responsibility
It is the responsibility of the installer, contractor, or business handling the unit to ensure that they are properly trained, qualified, and competent to work with R32 refrigerant systems.
The HVAC industry continues to evolve, and all installers are responsible for remaining compliant with the latest safety requirements, installation methods, and refrigerant handling practices.

Nyana and/or the product supplier will not accept liability for loss, injury, damage, fire, system failure, or property damage caused by:
Incorrect installation
DIY installation
Installation by unqualified persons
Poor electrical work
Incorrect refrigerant handling
Failure to follow the manufacturer’s installation manual
Failure to comply with applicable SANS standards
Non-standard or unsafe installation practices
Any installation that does not comply with the manufacturer’s requirements and applicable safety standards may result in the warranty being voided.
